I think the purpose of education is to teach future generations the basic skills and knowledge to run the world. I think it important for student to learn through practical application. I want my students to enjoy learning and feel like they are learning the information because it is interesting and useful to know rather than feel like they are memorizing the material for an exam. While lecture is necessary in presenting information for the first time, I think it is also important for student to work hands on and minds engaged in order to get a true understanding of the topic being taught. as a teacher, I want to help mold my students to be future leaders of the world.
